Walking in Lanzarote in the cooler months of the year is an increasingly popular activity. There are well marked tracks and paths throughout the island with walking to suit a wide range of ability and interest. From walking across flower covered meadows in spring to striding along high ridges and exploring volcanic lava fields and peaks, the island has a lot to offer the leisure walker. Mountain Biking

Quality mountain bikes are available for hire on the island and we would be happy to advise you on the best places to go. The island is criss-crossed by tracks that provide an excellent alternative to the roads to explore more remote villages and beaches. Maps of the tracks are available within the apartments.

Diving

The fantastic volcanic Reefs of Lanzarote are a natural wonder. The ecosystem supports a great concentration of life with almost daily encounters with rays, groopers, barracudas and angel sharks! Water temperature ranges from 18° to 25° Celsius allowing comfortable diving all year round. The visibility is usually between 30 and 50 metres. A truly spectacular and unique place to learn!

Horse Riding

The apartment is a few minutes drive from Lanzarote a Caballo (Lanzarote on Horseback) the largest equestrian centre on the island, which offer a range of riding packages from horseback excursions, riding lessons, games, group programmes designed for all levels of ability. In addition, there is a chance to learn to ride camels, which have been used on the island for many years as pack animals.

Golf

Lanzarote has had a Championship golf course at Teguise for nearly 30 years and has a number of new courses in the pipeline. The island has perfect year round weather for golf and with the addition of 2 additional courses; one already under construction on the outskirts of Puerto del Carmen on the road to Tias and another planned for Montaņa Roja Playa Blanca. The island is set to become a favoured destination for those seeking golfing holidays in the sun.
